This is Rhema. They're from tri-cities, WA. And, my god they are awesome. I have been a strong supporter for a while now, but last night I went to a local hardcore show because they were playing, and they absolutely blew my mind. Now, keep in mind, i cannot STAND most hardcore music. but Rhema, is something new. They hardly sound like they fit in the hardcore genre. Ever heard of melodic, ominous, progressive hardcore? Me neither, except for them. When at the show, I wasn't too impressed with the other bands for the sake of sounding all the same. Rhema is the only one that stood out. Brett Demmon (lead vocalist) certainly put's all he can into the vocals to the point where people say he looks "insane" on stage. All I saw is him putting his whole heart into the performance and the song. While the vocals are amazing, the guitars are very intriguing they have a very nice melodic touch to them and stand out greatly. I also noticed the drums were outstanding! Perfect timing, perfect backbone for a awesome band. These guy's have a lot going for them, check em out and be the first out of your friends to hear...Rhema. Below is their facebook.

Rhema has new promo photos! THEY'RE AWESOME! GK photography did a GREAT job! A lot is going to be happening with Rhema! They're getting ready to record their EP! While talking to Trae Davis guitarist for Rhema I asked him to give me more info about whats going on with Rhema, and here is what he said "We are starting to record our EP with Jared Dines on September 25th the EP is to be released in early 2012.. Our EP title has not yet been released to the public but is to be released by October along with the album art... Rhema will be releasing 2 new songs in mid to late October that will be on our upcoming EP! ; ) get pumped cause I am lol!"

GREAT Guys, I've been a fan for a couple years now, and I was stoked when James messaged me on my email telling me about their new stuff (Which is INCREDIBLE) These guys have the best acoustic music I have EVER heard, it's a great mixture of sentimental, intimate and just beautiful. When you listen to their music it just takes you back and makes you reminisce, it's so beautifully written and played out instrumentally. I always listen to them when I'm blogging, it gets me in touch with how I really feel. These guys are really, really great guys, their not in the music business for the money, they used to have a set up where you could log into a email and send yourself their music! They just want to be heard. And they deserve too! I would love to see these guys play live and meet them one day! Go ahead and check them out, I highly recommend them. Below is their facebook :)
